"As a scrapbook page designers, one of my goals is to create layouts that are attractive and delightful. When my family members and friends look at my pages, I want them to be captivated by the photos, engaged by the story and charmed by the details."

Graphic designer Ali Edwards started scrapbooking in 2002 as a way to preserve her son's baby photographs and memorabilia. Says Ali, "As designer who scrapbooks and as a scrapbooker who designs, I've discovered the power in telling the storiess on my pages with a combination of words, photos, embellishments - and design principles."

Ali was inducted into the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Hall of Fame in 2003. She teaches classes on scrapbook page design at conventions across the country. As a contributing editor for Creating Keepsakes, Ali writes feature articles on a variety of topics and teaches classes on scrapbook page design at conventions across the country.

In "A Designer's Eye For Scrapbooking," Ali shares her design secrets on how to create attractive, charming and well-balanced pages that tell a story and reflect your unique personality. This inspirational guide to scrapbook page design will teach you how to preserve your memories in a meaningful way.

Ali lives in Cresswell, Oregon, with her husband, Chris, and their three-year-old son, Simon.
