National Scrapbooking Day May 3rd

About Wendy —  As creative editor for Simple Scrapbooks magazine, Wendy Smedley is always on the cutting edge of product trends and industry news. She manages the product-focused section of the magazine and represents Simple on the popular Scrapbook Memories program seen on local PBS stations.  Wendy officially entered the scrapbook industry in 1996, and in her 11+ years of experience, she’s been involved in every aspect of the hobby—from retail to manufacturing and distribution to public relations to her current editorial post. She’s also a seasoned teacher and has made numerous local and national television appearances. She’s the author of two editions of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Scrapbooking and has been helping to shape the Simple Scrapbooks vision since the magazine’s inception in 2002.
Wendy and her husband, Kent, live in Centerville, Utah with their five boys, Taylor, Justin, Jacob, Nathan, and Caden.
